The ideal venue for entertaining San Francisco Convention guests - hold your event on the bay of San Francisco while allowing guests the freedom to take San Francisco transportation to and from San Francisco hotels at any time during your event. The Pier 3 location affords a spectacular view of the Bay Bridge, with its festive nighttime lighting, Coit Tower and Telegraph Hill and the San Francisco skyline. Guests can survey the Bay from outside walks at either end of the lower deck, or from the expansive open roof deck. Plenty of guest parking space is an added attraction.

The Ferryboat, which also houses a corporate office and call processing center, was built in 1927 by General Engineering in Alameda, CA. She is emblematic of the dozens of two-ended auto ferries, with characteristic dual pilot houses, that moved cars to and from nearby Pier 1 and the Ferry Building before and during the great bridge construction era of the 1930's.
